After a great day at Longleat Safari Park with some family, we headed just up the road to our accommodation for the week at Centre Parcs Longleat.
We had a 4 bedroom place, each with it’s own ensuite. Gemma and I in one room, my parents in another, my brother and sister in law in another, and 2 of my nephews in the final room. After a long, winding queue up to the entrance, we finally got the convoy of cars through and pulled up outside our temporary new home.
As you walk in, the kitchen/dining room/lounge is one big open plan room, with doors at the far side to a patio, complete with table and chairs.
I think there is a sauna outside too, but we didn’t use it. Upstairs was simple, 2 double rooms and 2 twin rooms, each with a decent sized bathroom.
In the space of 3 days I swam through the rapids, went on waterslides, ate good food, went on a pedalo, played football, got drunk, played table tennis, played laser tag and so many other things. And that was just me, the kids did even more!
We met up with some extended family whilst we were there too, see the photos…
Centre Parcs is expensive, but definitely worth it if you have children. It was nice to see relatives that we don’t usually spend time with too. If you’ve ever been, or would like to, leave a comment below!
