I handed my car back to work on Monday, as it was my final day. I was being paid well, looked after, supported and was happy enough with my secure job.
However, this cannot overshadow the plans I have for the next few weeks. Spanish markets, Machu Picchu, Peruvian cathedrals, prisons, death roads and wrestling in Bolivia, Colombian biking, Costa Rican waterfalls, Nicaraguan beaches, American muscle cars and soccer then finally landing in my new home in New Zealand. Makes me feel slightly better about being jobless anyway.
First port of call is Lima, Peru, and you can find out how it was here.
