I handed my car back to work on Monday, as it was my final day. Gemma finished the Friday before, and we were both subdued. I was being paid very well, looked after, supported and the two of us were happy with our secure jobs.
However, this cannot overshadow the plans we have for the next few weeks. Spanish markets, Machu Picchu, Peruvian cathedrals, prisons, death roads and wrestling in Bolivia, Colombian biking, Costa Rican waterfalls, Nicaraguan beaches, American muscle cars and soccer then finally landing in our new home in New Zealand. Makes me feel slightly better about being jobless anyway.
